Since the volunteer is not an active agent, he or she can terminate this voluntary contract at any time for whatever reason it deems necessary. The leave period calculated under the same formula may be granted in lieu of payment, but only in agreement with the worker. Workers earning above the current threshold are not subject to the provisions of paragraph 10 (overtime) of the Basic Employment Act.
